Discordance are a collaboration between Transformer’s Johny Giles and DJ Gareth Sutton. The track “Tarantism” is a very funky track with a vibe and sound that reminds me of a mixture of early Chicago House, Kano, Justin Robertson and Alexander Robotnick but with a modern take on all of them !
The breakdown is delightful with really lush synth strings/pads before kicking back in , I look forward to hearing what the lads come up with in the future !
This EP is to be released on Tronik Youth’s Nein records and features quality remixes from:
Tici Taci who creates a total dark beast which builds and builds with some live bass thrown in for good measure !
Newcomer Perdido Key who takes the track down a more sinister Acid vibe which is not a bad thing !
Tronik Youth also provides a more laid back filthy chugger of a mix
