House Of Jezebel – Love & Happiness (Vocal Mix)
Something a little mellower than the last few tunes that I have put up !! I am a sucker for bit of vocal house with a deep bassline ! Don’t really know too much about the producer House of Jezebel (think someone said to me its Legowelt in disguise?!?) but this tune is sick its only a couple of years old but sounds like it came out in the early 80s Chicago House period !Think the sample is from an Al Green record ?
I do love tunes that use old drum machines and have the warm tone that you associate with tunes from an older era Bicep are very good at this as well along with a few others such as Weatherall and Hardway Bros !
